Weekly Challenge #61: "UMT v.II"

So!
Using the random number generator, this week's tangle comes to us from Mariët, called GOLVEN, which is the Dutch word for waves..

Which is about how I feel this morning...after driving for two days.  I drove through some beautiful country over the last two days.  Highway 80 thru Alabama and Georgia.  Rolling hills (waves), beautiful countryside, cows, cows and more cows.  Passed through miles of blueberry farms and several vineyards.  On the outskirts of one small town there was a field with burned out trees just filled with buzzards!  There had to have been at least 50 very large birds all come home to roost for the night.  I had never seen so many buzzards in one place before.

I have played with Golven a few times and find it a very relaxing and elegant tangle and look forward to posting my challenge.  I am tempted to look at the other challenges that have been posted (just a peek), but will wait until mine is finished.  See you all later!

  1. Sometimes it's hard to not peek at the ones already submitted, but I find if I do look, I can't get other's patterns out of my mind and it influences my piece. Yours is really pretty - I love your choices of tangles, and everything is done so well.

  3. I always wait until I've posted my tangle before "looking" at all the other entries. It makes it easier for me to "do my own thing"! I love what you've done here...very cool! BTW...hwy 80 through Alabama is a road I've traveled often when going to visit my daughter...LOTS of cows!! LOL!
