This weeks Diva Challenge combines two tangles...Hybrid and Strircles. The really challenging part is to use only these two tangles. What was harder for me was that I really like swirly tangles. It didn't help that my teacup chihuahua - Zoey decided that the only place she was comfortable was on my lap. She is so sweet, but it's really hard to draw lines with a tiny little klingon trying to sleep on your arm. Finally got one finished without her help. Can't wait to see everyone's challenge!
Honey and Zoey - Mother and Daughter! My creative consultants.
Beautiful tile and two really cute assistants! My helper of that sort is a 102 lb. lab mix. Those helpers are important to the creative process and yours led you along beautifully!
ReplyDeleteYou have shown the two patterns in a way that they complement and frame each other perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI love the structure of your tangle.

So great to overlap them. You are the only one to weave them so far! good job.
ReplyDeleteI usually have a 5 year old trying to sit in my lap! I bet he is more wiggly than your sweet pup. I really like how your tangles weave toghether. They combine to look like beautiful fabric.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful zentangles, but I love your doggies even more!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteWow, this is really stunning! I love the straight lines and weave and shading of your hybrid, and the bold strircles sets it off beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me (for some strange reason!) of a very beautifully tailored, sophisticated, couture wool jacket. It's a very lovely work of art.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorites in the challenge so far. Love the shading and 3D feel to it.
